When the bushings are paired with the short shifter and transmission adapter plate, it makes for a solid and precise shifting experience that is slop-free. This short shifter kit contains everything you need to significantly reduce the shifter throw while also improving the shift feel and accuracy of your Ford Focus ST.

Included in this fully adjustable kit is the short shifter transmission adapter plate and the short-throw shifter lever, as well as the transmission bushings and shifter base bushings. 6 possible combinations allow for shift reductions that range from 10% to 51%, making this kit truly customizable and a must-have for all drivers. Easy to install, and no modifications to the console are required. The short throw shifter also retains the full functionality of the reverse lockout.

**Compatible with OEM shift knob, or any shift knob with a thread pitch of M12x1.25 30mm**

The short shifter kit is designed and manufactured in Boomba’s manufacturing facility, right here in the United States and all mounting hardware are included. All components are precision CNC machined out of billet steel for strength and long lasting durability. A definite mod for daily drivers as well as autocross and road racing enthusiast!

Boomba Racing aluminum cable bracket and shifter base bushings are a direct replacement for the OEM rubber bushings. Once installed, they completely eliminate excess movement in the shifter cable bracket, creating a much more precise and exact shifting experience.

These bushings are precision CNC machined from high quality aircraft grade billet aluminum and are available in 4 different colors: Natural Aluminum, and Red, Black or Blue Anodized.
